Post 2: Why did you choose your career / study programme?

Hello friends! ✌

When I was young. I was going to many birthday celebrations and I was spending time always weekends with my cousins. What I liked the most was playing football, I wanted to be a football player of Colo Colo club. Then it was transformed into a hobby. I went to high school and I had some interest in new things. From there I began to want a career related to interpersonal relationships. By the time I finished schoool I tried to study a career of social siensce, especially a career that would allow me help children. I gave the PSU and applied to social work, it was the only career I wanted.

I entered the university. Until now the university experience has been good in general because I  have met great people, I have learned many things, and the best thing is that I can have my own identity. The evaluation periods are complicated and cause stress. 

Finally, the kind of job I would like to have is where it relates to childhood. I can say that I am really fulfilling my dream.

HELLO EVERYONE ❤

This is my first post of the semester. My name is Alejandra, I'm 21 years old. I was born on 16th december, 1997, in Santiago. I'm studyng social work at the faculty of social science of the "Universidad de Chile". I studied in the same school all my life called Altazor and it was in Puente Alto commune.
About my family my parnts are called Lorena and Nelson, they are 51 years old. I have one brother called Francisco, he is 7 years old and one grandmother called Micaela, she is 86 years old. I have always lived with them.
I have one dog, that is 12 years old and one cat, that is 2 years old. I love them so much and I like play with them.
In my free time I listen to music, dance and sing. I also like watch movies or series.

ENGLISH, yes or no

Hi people! 👀

My name is Alejandra. I study social work at the faculty of social science of the Universidad de Chile.

I know English is very important, but really I don´t like it because this language is a little complicated and I would prefer to learn other languages such as Portuguese. 

Often I listen to music in English, because I like national music, especially rap or urban kind and my favourite artists sing in Spanish. Nevertheless I always watch movies in English most of the weekends.

The most difficult aspect of English for me are the presentations because I´m shy, and listen to works because the sound recording is very quick. 

I think these difficulties  I can get over with practice. It´s good idea to speak more in English with public and I need to listen to more audios.
